Personal Auto

Personal Auto coverage consists of Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Uninsured Motorist, Medical Payments, Comprehensive, Collision, Towing and Rental coverage. Within respective states, there is a little variation in the definition of these terms from company to company. Companies may offer higher limits of coverage but the basic definitions read very much alike.
  • Bodily Injury covers injury to a third party.
  • Property Damage covers the damage you do to someone’s property.
  • Uninsured Motorists coverage protects you from injury by another person that has no insurance or has lower limits that you are entitled to receive.
  • Medical Payments cover you and your passengers' injuries when the personal injury coverage exclusion is triggered. This can also act as an excess limit of coverage if your personal injury protection is exhausted.
  • Comprehensive covers all damage to the car except damage caused by collision.
  • Collision covers damage caused by contact with another vehicle or property.
  • Towing, or roadside assistance, covers the cost of having your car towed or repaired from the site of breakdown.
  • Rental reimbursement covers the cost to rent a car while your car is being repaired due to a covered claim.

Premiums vary among companies depending on the following:

  • where you live
  • type and use of the car
  • insurance score
  • age of drivers
  • years of driving experience
  • driving records
  • age, make, and model of vehicle insured
  • safety features in the car
  • driver training courses
  • ratio of cars to drivers
  • students away at school

Your insurance score is one of the most important components that determine the premium today. Every insurance company's scoring model is unique and proprietary. As a result, premiums can vary tremendously. You will experience the advantage of shopping for auto insurance with an Independent Agent like the Brown Insurance Group due to the number of companies we represent and our capability of identifying the best rate for you.

Antique Auto

  • Agreed Value Coverage
This coverage provides far better protection for the value of your antique automobile than Actual Cash Value (ACV) or Stated Value. In case of a total loss, you will receive the full amount for which you insured the vehicle.
  • Bodily Injury Coverage
Though you may rarely use the vehicle, it is important to ensure your bodily injury limits are adequate to protect your assets and meet the underlying requirements for your umbrella coverage. Premiums are affordable due to typical usage.
  • Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Protection from injuries which occur as a result of an accident with an uninsured motorist.

  • Zero Deductible
In most cases, you'll pay nothing if you have a claim with your antique collection vehicle.
  • One-Time Liability Fee
Regardless of the number of antique vehicles you have on your policy, you only pay a single liability charge.
  • Restricted Usage
We review restricted usage clauses to ensure the policy meets your situation. Many policies have mileage restrictions as well as usage restrictions – including coverage limitations for valet parking and vehicles left unattended.
